2017
DO GOOD X was founded on September 12, 2017, by Co-Founders Kimberly R. Daniel and Stephen Lewis.
From September 19 - 21, 2017, DO GOOD X launched and facilitated its first accelerator, welcoming ten entrepreneurs to the accelerator and national forum in Atlanta, Georgia.
The first Jumpstart was held from September 12 -15, 2017.
The first Bootcamp was held from November 5 - 10, 2017.
The first Pitch Event took place on November 10, 2017.
DO GOOD X received 91 pledges.

- DO GOOD X awarded $10,000 to first and second-place winners Ryan Powell at GoHealth Kids Fitness Deck and Julius Jessup Jessup Peterson at Alternative Dimensions.

- DO GOOD X welcomed and supported six businesses in its accelerator.

- DO GOOD X successfully converted the in-person accelerator into an online accelerator.

DO GOOD X welcomed seven entrepreneurs and supported their business ideas in its inaugural online 10-week accelerator and pitch event.
DO GOOD X welcomed notable speakers/entreprenurs to its accelerators: James Bailey on September 13, 2022, Kathryn Finney, on October 22, 2022, and Jasmine Crowe on November 2, 2022.
Founders Stephen and Kimberly published a book on innovation and entrepreneurship entitled A Way Out of No Way: An Approach to Christian Innovation.

Kimberly R. Daniel
Co-Founder and Project Director, DO GOOD X
Kimberly is driven to inspire people to align with their purpose and to make magic happen with their gifts. She has almost 15 years of experience leading communications efforts at organizations, is a certified life coach, and has helped to catalyze entrepreneurs to do good. Kimberly serves as senior director of communications at the Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE) and is a co-founder of DO GOOD X, an initiative that provides a community and an accelerator for underrepresented faith-rooted social entrepreneurs who want to do good. She is co-author of A Way Out of No Way: An Approach to Christian Innovation (2022). Kimberly holds a Master of Arts in arts and business administration from Savannah College of Arts and Design and a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Coastal Carolina University. In her free time, you'll find her doing Muay Thai, reading, playing classical music, and exploring nature, all with her daughter, Zara, in tow.
Stephen Lewis

Stephen Lewis is the president of the Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE) and creator and co-founder of DO GOOD X, a start-up accelerator for diverse Christian social entrepreneurs. He is an organizational change strategist and a leadership development specialist, focused on inspiring the next generation of faith-inspired leaders and entrepreneurs to live and work on purpose. Stephen is the co-author of Another Way: Living and Leading Change on Purpose (2020) and A Way Out of No Way: An Approach to Christian Innovation (2021).
